The Grooms entrance in an Indian Wedding Ceremony usually starts outside with the fanfare of the Bhaarat being energised by a set of Dhol Players, Band Baja or a Large Beat Box playing dance tracks to start the arrival procession.
Once this has ended and all the guests are seated, the grooms entrance to the mandap will take place. This typically for an Indian Groom is to create an atmosphere that equally matches or overtakes the Bharaat entrance outside. So its essential to create a secondary entrance to the mandap where all the guests will be cheering the groom and his immediate family down the aisle.
Tip 1: The tempo: It has to be fast and full of energy so as to allow the seated guests to join in. Thing of any track that has a lively beat to follow through continuously so the tempo does not drop. Most importantly think about the feeling you’re trying to create
Tip 2: Consider whether you prefer a song that includes lyrics or an instrumental. Both types work, it all depends on what sort of lively entrance you want. Determine where in the track is the optimal moment when you step onto the aisle and walk in.
We recorded and produced our very own entrance songs.
